Conservation Strategist

The Nature Conservancy seeks a skilled Conservation Strategist to develop and implement innovative solutions for environmental challenges. As part of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and contribute to our mission of conserving lands and waters upon which all life depends.

This role requires strong project management skills, experience in partnership development, and knowledge of current trends and practices in conservation. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, developing and implementing new initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Conservancy policies and procedures.

• Coordinate the work of cross-functional teams towards a desired outcome.
• Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.
• Develop and implement new initiatives that will ensure department and organization-wide goals and strategies are achieved.
• Ensure programmatic commitments, Conservancy policies and procedures, financial standards, and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
