Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust risk management systems to mitigate potential risks in investment banking deals;
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on all transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborate with the team leader to establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures;
  • Identify and address potential issues that may impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the department;
  • Promote a culture of quality assurance, risk awareness, and compliance throughout the organization;
  • Provide expert advice to the Investment Banking Department to enhance deal quality and facilitate smooth transaction execution;
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field from a reputable university;
  • At least 4-7 years of work experience in reputable investment banks, Big4 accounting firms, or law firms, preferably with experience in HKEx or SFC;
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, including the Listing Rules and the Takeovers Code;
  • Familiarity with corporate finance execution and operational procedures;
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
