Senior Project Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Development Manager to join our team at Global Executive Consultants Ltd. as a key player in managing and leading high-profile projects.

This is a senior role that requires someone with extensive experience in project management, leadership skills, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and directing all aspects of project development, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation;
  • Leading cross-functional teams and providing guidance on project scope, approach, and testing plans;
  • Liaising with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Acting as a facilitator between business units and vendors to address and resolve issues related to system development and quality assurance;
  • Providing supervision and guidance to staff and monitoring their performance;
  • Ensuring efficient and effective system development processes are in place and enforcing compliance by the team;
  • Managing project budgets and costs and reporting regularly to management on progress.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;
  • At least 10 years of computing experience, with 5+ years in a project management position in the financial sector (preferably with exposure to digital projects);
  • Experience in building and structuring project documentation and timelines;
  • Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong leadership capabilities to facilitate sessions with a large number of participants;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing situation with new stakeholders added along the way;
  • Desirable: experience in insurance or banking.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
