As a System Engineer at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be responsible for performing system administration tasks and technical support for our data center. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including system administration, technical support, and maintenance of our data center.
Your Key Responsibilities- Perform system administration tasks, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of our IT systems.
- Provide technical support for our data center, including on-site hardware and software installation and maintenance.
- Support all projects and technical requests within the data center, including vendor coordination for incidents and problems handling.
- Work on shift rotation for on-call support of our systems, ensuring 24-hour operation.
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in system administration, technical support, and IT infrastructure management. Key requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administering RHEL 7/8, Windows Server 2012/2016.
- Experience with administering VMware vSphere 7/8.
- Experience in IBM iSeries (AS400) operation is preferable.
- Hands-on experience in backup tools.
- Technical knowledge in IP networking.
- Technical knowledge in NAS/SAN is an advantage.
- Fast learner with a high degree of self-motivation.
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin is an advantage.
