About the Position

The Research Assistant Professor position is available at the Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre Limited, a collaborative effort between the University of Hong Kong and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage research projects in areas such as Aqueous Two-Phase Systems, Biomicrofluidics, Novel Device Technologies, or Soft Matter for Bioengineering.
  • Develop and implement new research ideas and approaches.
  • Mentor junior researchers and students.
Requirements
  • A Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral research training from an internationally recognized university in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise and strong track records in Aqueous Two-Phase Systems, Biomicrofluidics, Novel Device Technologies, or Soft Matter for Bioengineering.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
