We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Accounts Clerk/Temporary Accounts Clerk to join our team at Po Leung Kuk. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including accounts payable, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely payment of bills and manage accounts payable
  2. Prepare and post journal entries accurately and efficiently
  3. Perform general accounting duties, including data recording and purchase invoices/statements handling
  4. Assist in processing year-end closing procedures
  5. Check procurement documents for accuracy and completeness
  6. Perform bank reconciliation to ensure account balances are accurate
  7. Cheque preparation and general clerical works
  8. Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in related disciplines is required
  • At least two years' relevant working experience and proficient in PC skills
  • Student membership of HKIAAT or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent is preferred
  • Less experienced candidates will also be considered
