About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a Water Engineer, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater, and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, and community infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering design works, including drainage, water supply, and wastewater aspects
  • Conduct technical assessments and report preparation
  • Coordinate with project teams and clients to facilitate project implementation
  • Participate in technical proposal preparation and tender document development
  • Ensure compliance with quality and environmental management systems, health and safety policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Prefer a degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; candidates with Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering will also be considered
  • Corporate membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in relevant disciplines or equivalent
  • Completion of Scheme A Training is preferred for non-chartered candidates
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of engineering modeling software
  • Results-oriented and client-focused
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
