Job Description

We are looking for a talented Associate to assist the General Counsel with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels. They will also be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and prioritize workload under time pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdiction with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • 3 - 6 years working experience with reputable law firms and/or international companies with legal knowledge in APAC region (including China), in-house experience is preferable.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, good command of both spoken and written Chinese and Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see and understand the bigger picture.
  • Mature and has a high sense of responsibility and accountability for work.
  • Good commercial acumen.
