Chief Technology Strategist

Captiare Limited is a leading provider of data intelligence solutions. We are seeking a Chief Technology Strategist to join our product development team. This role will play a key contributor in developing new products based on cutting-edge technologies and innovative strategies.

• Software Development: Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions using Snowflake, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the front-end user interfaces and back-end systems, leveraging expertise in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, improving database performance and reducing query latency.
• Engage in Snowflake native application development, driving innovation and growth through cutting-edge technology adoption.

• Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to understand product objectives and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
• Participate in project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within the Snowflake environment, implementing robust data governance practices.

• Optimize performance of Snowflake queries and data models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data processing and storage, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality, catching errors early and preventing bugs from impacting production systems.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to conduct system testing and resolve any issues, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and database design to support large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless migration and scalability.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and Machine Learning frameworks, a strong plus for those interested in exploring the intersection of AI and data engineering.
• Experience or interest in front-end development, with the ability to contribute to both user interface and back-end development, expanding skill sets and capabilities.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
