About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in driving the design and development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient software solutions using Java-related coding and programming languages.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate issues related to interface jobs and programs, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new interfaces, conduct connectivity testing, functional testing, and drive design and solution on interfaces and batch jobs.
  • Apply technical expertise to understand business pain points and propose effective solutions, leveraging knowledge of AWS, AuroraDB, SNS/SQS, Redis, and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with leads on technical escalation and issue resolutions, executing recovery plans and participating in technical discussions and meetings with clients/vendors.
  • Conduct peer code reviews on work products, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Around 5 years of experience as a Java developer, with a strong foundation in software development principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with microservice architecture, Jira, CI/CD pipeline, unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
