Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to support the execution of marketing and promotional campaigns for our retail bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, coordination, and execution of marketing communications campaigns for our products, services, and channels.
  • Liaise with agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement, and production for branding and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute PR initiatives within budget, including media invitation/pitching, event run-down and coordination, drafting of press releases and speeches, press kit development, and post-event monitoring and follow-up.
  • Build and expand our media network and database, identify and leverage media coverage opportunities through proactive pitching and/or media relationships to optimize media coverage.
  • Support and coordinate the execution of our social media content strategy.
  • Support branch activities and branch displays.
  • Support corporate and CSR activities, such as sponsorship and volunteer work.
  • Ensure compliance with our Group's corporate ID and other marketing guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Degree or above with a major in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in advertising/PR agencies or retail marketing; banking and financial services experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • PR and copywriting skills and/or advertising and media planning skills preferred.
  • Conversant in social media skills and promotions.
  • Knowledge in print and collateral production.
  • PC and Chinese typing skills are required.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, good attention to details, able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight schedules.
