Role Overview
- Support engineers in executing all maintenance tasks, troubleshooting defects, and implementing rectifications;
- Supervise a team of mechanics to ensure the smooth operation of line maintenance;
- Strategically plan and allocate mechanic resources based on the daily work program and required qualifications for aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standards;
- Uphold safety protocols and airworthiness regulations, ensuring compliance among mechanics;
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation and work records;
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of line maintenance vehicles during shifts, promptly reporting any defects or incidents;
- Keep the ramp office organized and tidy throughout the shift;
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Manager of Line Maintenance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a relevant qualification demonstrating experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Have over 8 years of experience in airline maintenance and engineering, including 2 years in a supervisory role, with familiarity in the Airbus A320 series being advantageous;
- Be proficient in utilizing or interpreting technical manuals;
- Exhibit sound judgment in team collaboration and aircraft maintenance safety;
- Be open to working variable shifts;
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
