Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement project charters, scope statements, goals, deliverables, resource plans, budgets, and timelines.
  2. Manage project prioritization, interdependencies, and integration across multiple projects.
  3. Analyze and mitigate overall project risks and issues.
  4. Design solutions to address identified risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  5. Oversee project KPIs, budgets, and costs.
  6. Ensure accurate and accessible project documentation.
  7. Directly manage project resources and budget planning.
  8. Allocate resources across different projects.
  9. People Management - Communicate effectively with internal teams and make sound management decisions.
  10. Coach and lead the functional project team to display professionalism and challenge themselves.
  11. Vendor / Third Party Management - Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors based on contractual terms.

Requirements

  1. Expert knowledge of current technologies, protocols, and standards for networking, telephony, security, virtualization, DBMS, Active Directory, Internet, collaboration tools, and operating systems.
  2. Proven track record of implementing large-scale IT infrastructure projects including WAN, LAN, Data Centre, Telephony, Contact Centre, Collaboration services, and Security.
  3. Total 10+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure & operations, with at least 5+ years in core infrastructure architecture design.
  4. Familiarity with all relevant tasks in the infrastructure life cycle from design, configuration, installation, patching, upgrading, creation, monitoring, sizing, tuning, replication, backup, recovery.
  5. Understanding of web integration technologies and middleware.
  6. Experience designing data center migration and transformation strategies.
  7. Experience designing Disaster Recovery solutions.
  8. Experience with Private & Public Cloud solutions, hosting, and cloud subject matter expertise.
  9. Experience with standard operating environments.
  10. Experience with core datacenter technologies.
  11. Networking, Network convergence, Network Security, and Compliance.
  12. Experience with Server Hardware Platforms.
  13. Experience with Storage, SANs, and Managed Back-up.
  14. Experience with Virtualization (VMware, vSphere or MS Hyper-V).
  15. Experience with Databases - Oracle, DB2, MS SQL & MySQL.
  16. Experience in Middleware.
  17. Experience with Unix and Linux (preferably AIX and Red Hat).
  18. Experience with MS Windows Server, Active Directory, and Directory federation services.
  19. Experience with core client technologies, including Microsoft Windows.
  20. Experience with Citrix technologies.
  21. Experience with Infrastructure and application management and monitoring.
  22. Experience providing high-level designs and governing ERP implementation in the retail and wholesale landscape.
  23. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and generate innovative solutions.
