Job Overview

Carrefour Global Sourcing is a leading global retailer seeking a Senior Data Analyst who possesses in-depth knowledge of the retail sourcing business. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate business analytics consolidation, contributing to the company's strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and quality of retail sourcing and financial processes data.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reports providing insights into business performance and metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with global procurement teams, local merchandising teams, finance, CSR, logistics, and digital teams to gather relevant data and build consolidation.
  • Share key findings and actionable recommendations to enhance business decision-making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for the business and follow up on corrective action plans' impact.
  • Implement efficient data collection and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Automate routine tasks to streamline operations and establish a single source of truth for data.
  • Provide training and support to cross-functional teams on data collection methods and reporting tools.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of proven analytical and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of retail sourcing and accounting processes and familiarity with regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and market research techniques.
  • Experience with data automation and dashboard creation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
