Job Title: T&C Technician

Alstom is seeking a skilled T&C Technician to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing testing activities, ensuring defects identification and correction, and delivering committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs, and Deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute testing activities on railway signaling systems under the direction of hierarchy according to testing procedure/documentation and following Subsystem T&C Engineer/Leader instructions.
  • Ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting).
  • Check that test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
  • Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with procedures in force.
  • In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context.
  • Deliver committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs, and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards, and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety).
  • Take the role to be CP(T) of the self-working team, conduct safety briefing and reminder during the work at night if required.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in construction, engineering, transport industry for infra and commissioning work.
  • Strong desire to achieve and willing to take challenges in a multinational organization and work with diverse environment.
  • Willing to learn, with team spirit, multi-tasking, and open-minded.
  • Able to take an analytical approach for problem solving under time pressure.
  • Operational and personal safety awareness is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Registered Electrical Workers is preferred.
  • Driving license.
  • First Aider is preferred.
  • Willing to work at night shifts and site works during weekends and on public holidays if required (This position is a full-time night work position).
