Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Learning and Development professional to join our team as a VP, Business Learning Partner, Human Resources. As a key member of the Group Human Resources team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining learning solutions that support business strategy and drive organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted solutions that align with functional knowledge, processes, and policies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive learning agendas and regional roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and execute regional learning roadmaps and priority programs, leveraging proactive interactions with internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of curricula and programs, incorporating feedback from participants and senior management to inform improvements.
  • Ensure flawless execution of curricula, delivering a client-centric experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Represent DBS Academy to stakeholders, communicating clearly and concisely about learning initiatives and opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and deliver appropriate learning interventions, utilising stand-up facilitation, in-house resources, and/or external consultants/vendors where necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit, and regulatory requirements throughout all areas of work.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years of Learning & Development experience in the financial industry, preferably with a proven track record of success.
  • Effective team player with strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to collaborate with staff at all levels and ranks.
  • Experience in people management or coaching is a plus, demonstrating ability to develop and inspire teams.
  • Able to provide independent and objective advice to key internal stakeholders, navigating complex issues and finding innovative solutions.
  • Program design and delivery expertise, including stand-up facilitation and vendor management.
  • Learning design and development, learning technology, data analytics, and media skills are advantageous, as is digital literacy and understanding of technology trends.
