Job Summary
  • This critical role demands expertise in translating complex security concepts into practical recommendations for our development team.
  • The selected candidate will oversee the enhancement and maintenance of secure development standards, manage application security framework improvement projects, and integrate security tools and processes into our SDLC.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring developers possess the necessary security knowledge, improving and supporting application security tool deployments, and producing metrics to measure program effectiveness and team performance.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with vendors to ensure their software and development meet our stringent security standards.
  • This role also involves participating in incident response and architecture review processes when application security expertise is required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in IT application security and risk management is desired.
  • Expertise in technical or security skills related to IT applications and infrastructure is crucial.
  • Practical experience in cyber security controls and incident handling is necessary.
  • Understanding of our company environment is vital.
  • Familiarity with Fintech is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines regarding cyber security and technology risk management is required.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are expected.
  • A strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellent service is necessary.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
  • At least two relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, and OSCP are expected.
  • Background in web and mobile application development/pentesting is preferable.
  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments and audits according to industry standards.
  • Awareness of various cybersecurity-related frameworks such as ISO 27001 ISMS, CIS CSC (CIS Critical Security Controls), and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
