Job Description
- As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for negotiating and executing financial markets master agreements and regulatory margin-related documents. Your expertise in ISDA/Nafmii/Cdea/GMRA/GMSLA/clearing agreements will be instrumental in driving business growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- You will liaise closely with internal stakeholders, including Risk Management, Collateral Management, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the negotiation process.
- Performing due diligence on counterparties' capacity and authority to enter into documentation is crucial to the success of our operations. Your ability to perform thorough research and analysis will be essential in this regard.
- Developing and maintaining in-house templates, keeping accurate records and repositories of executed and under-negotiation master agreements are critical tasks that require your attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Providing day-to-day support to internal stakeholders, coordinating bank-wide projects, and assisting in preparing management reports are additional responsibilities that demand your proactive approach and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- With at least 3 years of experience in financial markets master agreement negotiations, preferably in a leading multinational financial institution and/or reputable law firm, you possess a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities.
- A degree or higher in Law, Finance, or Business Management will provide a solid foundation for your career advancement.
- Expertise in derivative products and a strong grasp of relevant regulations are crucial for navigating the ever-changing landscape of financial markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is essential for effective communication within our multicultural environment. Proficiency in Putonghua is highly desirable.
