About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling up our metal recovery systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop advanced chemical and metallurgical processes, optimize unit operations, and lead plant design efforts for efficient metal separation and purification.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize processes for metal extraction, recovery, and purification from bioleached solutions and waste materials.
- Develop and refine unit operations including leaching, separation, precipitation, and filtration to maximize recovery efficiency.
- Utilize advanced chemical engineering techniques to control process parameters and ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform thermodynamic and kinetic modeling to predict and improve metal recovery and separation efficiency.
- Lead the design and implementation of pilot plant systems, including reactor and separation equipment sizing, material compatibility, and operational safety.
