We are looking for an experienced lead developer and project manager to oversee the development of our IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of software engineers, offshore resources, and external resources to accomplish development tasks under the supervision of project managers or development managers.
  • Working closely with business users to document requirements and prepare specifications, as well as collaborating with the architecture and infrastructure team to perform technical design and construction.
  • Developing system design, implementing customization, interfaces, conversion, and reporting, as well as software release.
  • Ensuring high-quality software deliverables through regular design and code reviews.
  • Complying with established standards and processes.
  • Providing support during system assurance test and user acceptance test.
  • Assisting the IT operations team in performing software installation and implementation.
  • Providing BAU application support under the direction of the technical/portfolio manager.
  • Resolving production problems and providing timely management updates.
  • Acting as a project manager for small-and-medium-sized projects assigned by the technical/portfolio manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate qualifications in computer science or engineering.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in managing projects, leading teams of developers locally and remotely to deliver IT solutions and provide system support.
  • Strong expertise in database solutions, including SQL queries and stored procedures on Microsoft SQL Server platform.
  • Experience in database clustering and performance tuning is a plus.
  • Experience in service or console-based applications using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#.NET is essential.
  • Proficiency in SUSE Linux is an asset.
  • Ability to lead application and database design initiatives.
  • Efficient problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
