This is a key role within the Stryker Group, reporting to the Director of East Asia Planning. The Senior Supply Planner will take ownership of supply planning for Stryker products from internal and external vendors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing unnecessary cash outflows related to E&O or potential risks associated with supply planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Decisions: Propose purchasing decisions by balancing business strategy and inventory management vis-à-vis key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Safety Stock Levels: Analyze and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to support business requirements.
- Purchasing and Inventory Management: Execute purchasing and manage Stryker products to achieve targets and objectives.
- PO and Shipment Status: Monitor PO and shipment status with suppliers and record relevant information into JDE system or other platforms.
- Supply-Related Issues: Interact with global teams, regional teams, demand planning, suppliers, warehousing & transportation to resolve supply-related issues.
- Liaison with Logistics: Liaise with logistics team to deliver products in a timely manner until identification of AWB#.
- Supplier Communication: Correspond with suppliers for open & backorder management and supply issues such as PLCM, demand forecast, and ERP system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and targets aligned with business strategy.
- Risk Management: Participate in monthly RRM and DSE meetings that support assigned products or franchises.
- Process Improvement: Autonomously drive improvements on supply planning areas aligned with East Asia planning team's strategy and KPIs.
- Project Management: Actively manage PLCM and other supply-related global projects to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated, and executed in support of project timelines.
- Metric Reporting: Measure, analyze, and report key process metrics while monitoring adherence to KPIs assigned to this position.
