Senior Physiologist

Lead Sports Scientist Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled sports scientist to lead our team as an Assistant Sports Science Manager at the Hong Kong Sports Institute.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive physiological assessments for athletes, directing junior staff in the sports science laboratory, and coordinating exercise testing.

About the Job

• You will work closely with the Scientific Conditioning Manager to ensure effective delivery of services.
• You will supervise junior staff, manage laboratory operations, and assist in research projects.
• You will maintain current knowledge of sports science practices and share that knowledge with staff.

Requirements

• You must have a Master's degree in Physiology, Sports Science, or related disciplines.
• You must be certified in first aid, CPR, and AED.
• You must have at least four years' experience in sports science or two years full-time working experience in related disciplines AND two years full-time experience as an athlete within a high-performance system exposed to applied sports science.
