The University now invites applications for the Research Project 'Minimizing Maintenance Delays by Integrating Aircraft Maintenance Routing and Maintenance Workforce Scheduling with the Consideration of Component Availability', funded by the Research Grants Council:

Postdoctoral Fellow - Department of Supply Chain and Information Management

The appointee will work with the project leader in conducting research and development projects.

• Possess a doctoral degree in Operations Research, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines;
• Be proficient in at least one computer programming language (e.g. Java, Python, etc.);
• Have good knowledge of mathematical modelling and optimisation algorithms;
• Familiar with airline planning processes.
