About This Role

The Commissioning Engineer will manage the testing and commissioning activities for data centre projects, requiring hands-on technical expertise in data centre commissioning and operations, as well as strong project management skills. This is a full-time position that involves direct management of the testing and commissioning process for all data centre projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of testing and commissioning agents, engineers, and technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team to ensure successful project completion.
  • Support the Testing & Commissioning Manager to develop and implement effective testing and commissioning strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with the SE Asia Testing & Commissioning Director to align regional strategies with local execution.
  • Closely collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data centre testing, commissioning, and operations.
  • Good knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, power systems, and network operations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the testing and commissioning process.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or contract management (e.g., CPM, CSCP).
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
