The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 10+ years of experience in fund operations, middle office, or fund administration within asset management.
  • Has proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring operational teams.
  • Has strong knowledge of fund structures, including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, and alternative investments.
  • Is familiar with fund accounting principles, NAV calculations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Has experience working with fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, and service providers.
  • Is proficient in fund operations technology, such as Geneva, Advent, Bloomberg AIM, Aladdin, or similar platforms.
  • Has a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk controls.

The Role:

  • You will oversee the full fund lifecycle, including fund launches, trade execution, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions.
  • You will ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations, portfolio valuation, and reporting in coordination with fund administrators.
  • You will manage cash and position reconciliations, working closely with custodians, prime brokers, and external vendors.
  • You will ensure all fund operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • You will work with legal, risk, and compliance teams to support audits, regulatory filings, and reporting obligations.
  • You will maintain robust operational risk controls to mitigate errors, fraud, and regulatory breaches.
  • You will lead and develop a team of fund operations professionals, ensuring high standards of performance and continuous development.
  • You will identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows and improve efficiency through automation.
