Distinguished Chair in Buddhist Philosophy

The successful candidate will hold the position of Professor of Buddhist Studies, reporting directly to the Head of Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Buddhist studies;
- Supervising M.Phil./Ph.D. students and mentoring junior academics;
- Leading the Buddhist Studies Centre and the Master of Arts Programme in Buddhist Studies;
- Developing and managing research projects, securing funding, and publishing scholarly works.
In addition, the appointee will contribute to the development of our department's research agenda, foster collaborations with international institutions, and represent our institution at national and international conferences.
