Stress Testing Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Stability Analyst to join our team at International Executive Service Corps. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for conducting stress testing and analyzing our financial position under various scenarios.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular stress testing to assess our financial position under various scenarios;
  • Reviewing and updating our Risk Appetite Statement and Tolerance Limits;
  • Reviewing and maintaining our Recovery Plan to ensure its effectiveness;
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on our financial position under various stress tests;
  • Overseeing banking subsidiaries to ensure they meet our management and reporting standards;
  • Performing ad hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head and Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Over 7 years' experience in risk management, treasury, and asset and liability management related areas in the banking industry;
  • Hands-on experience in database management, Excel, and statistical tools such as SQL, VBA, Python, SAS, etc.;
  • University degree in Finance, Risk Management, or equivalent; holder of CFA or FRM an added advantage;
  • Holder of professional qualifications such as Certified Banker (CB), or Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) preferred;
  • Sound knowledge in ICAAP, Recovery Plan, and Stress Testing, as well as respective HKMA regulatory requirements;
  • Good problem-solving capability with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
