Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Execution: Participate and support senior bankers in the execution of corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, M&A advisory, and other debt/equity fund raising activities.
  • Deal Origination: Participate and support senior bankers in deal origination/marketing activities, including industry/company research, financial analysis, feasibility studies, pitch-book and proposal preparation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist seniors to maintain/manage client relationships and provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of corporate developments and rules and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Manage and work efficiently alongside other teams such as GCM/sector teams.
Requirements:
  • Education: MBA graduate highly preferred; Bachelor Degree holder with outstanding academic background from reputable institutions.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years (Associate)/6 years (VP) of solid investment banking experience in reputable financial institutions, particularly in handling IPO transactions in the role of a sponsor or in vetting IPO applications in the role of regulator.
  • Skills: Proactive with strong organization and analytical skills, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. With attention to details and willingness to travel.
  • Language: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
