Sourcing Leader for Bloomberg Hong Kong

We procure and distribute goods and services that Bloomberg needs to operate. Our team is responsible for handling vendor-related risks and delivering exceptional customer service.
What's the Role?
You will lead the development and execution of supply strategies for multiple categories, focusing on Professional Services, Marketing, Advertising & News, Media, Travel, and Bloomberg On-Site Services.
You will need to demonstrate knowledge of procurement principles, strong negotiating skills, and attention to detail.
We'll Trust You To:
- Determine specifications and requirements for products and services through communication with internal stakeholders and the department's strategic plan
- Lead sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, direct negotiations, etc., and utilize market research from internal and external sources to drive sourcing decisions
- Ensure adherence to policies and thresholds set by the Chief Procurement Officer
- Negotiate and implement contractual agreements in partnership with the internal customer and our Legal department
- Manage the vendor base to ensure contractual compliance and financial efficiency
- Continuously review strategic plans with the Sourcing Team to better serve the company as a whole
- Build lasting relationships with internal clients and the associated vendor base
- Provide support to the team to ensure first-class customer service
