Job Title: Assistant Installation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Installation Manager to join our dynamic team at Alstom Hong Kong Limited. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning and managing all site operations, ensuring the successful delivery of our signaling projects to our customer MTR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage site activities, including site facilities, resources, and tools, to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
  • Develop and maintain plans, procedures, and work method statements for installation and test & commissioning.
  • Manage work packages assigned for site operations, including installation works for all sub-systems and system equipment.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring quality and delivery through site visits, inspections, and assessments.
  • Manage interfaces with third parties, such as facilities providers and civil work partners.
  • Coordinate installation engineering & design for the complete system, based on necessary inputs provided by sub-system engineering.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in field work execution in the railway sector, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of interface processes between civil works and rail sub-systems.
  • Experience in Environment, Health & Safety, knowledge of local legal requirements.
  • Experience in management and evaluation of subcontractors.
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills.
