Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled professional to play a key role in the maintenance, administration, and development of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks, as well as implementing new technologies to support business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Administration of IT Server/Storage Infrastructure: Ensure the reliability and performance of our server and storage infrastructure, including hardware and software upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure new hardware and software components to support business requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies and standards to protect against cyber threats.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Analyze complex technical issues and collaborate with other teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Documentation and Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of system documentation and asset inventory.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Studies, or a related field (preferably).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field (preferably).
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and File Service Administration, as well as Linux servers and applications.
  • Familiarity with Nutanix HCI, VMware ESXi, Veeam Backup Solutions, or similar backup solutions.
  • Scripting skills in shell scripts or PowerShell.
  • Banking industry experience is advantageous.
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation, self-discipline, and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

You will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. Regular working hours will apply, with flexibility to work outside these hours when required.
