Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team in Kowloon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks across various business units. This includes monitoring adherence to established policies and procedures, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the governance and facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) as required by the MCA Standard
- Support teams in ensuring the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
- Assist in performing detailed analyses to identify issue root causes, develop holistic corrective actions, and provide check-and-challenge processes to ensure proper escalation
- Monitor control breaches and disseminate learnings across business units for process improvement
- Review and challenge the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards

Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with expertise in operational risk management
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including third-party vendor management and compliance risk management
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to comprehend complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Proven track record of leading global teams and influencing organizational change
