About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our Technology Consulting team in KPMG China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering SAP systems integration, implementation, optimization, and migration projects. Your expertise in SAP security, infrastructure, and database administration will be crucial in helping our clients transform their legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SAP systems integration, implementation, optimization, and migration projects.
  • Provide technical support to clients in transforming their legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Perform SAP security activities, including identifying requirements, analysis, design, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for phased design and tools to support SAP S/4 HANA transformation.
  • Assess impacts and suggest risk remediations for SAP S/4 HANA migration.
  • Lead design and execute necessary system configuration to enable SAP S/4 HANA transformation.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams on a unified approach to SAP transformation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementation or consulting, with a strong background in SAP Basis, Application Server (AS) ABAP, and Application Server (AS) Java.
  • Good knowledge of SAP security architecture, principles, technologies, and solutions.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA solutions implementation and/or consultation experience.
  • Database administration, optimization, and migration expertise.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Able to work with clients on-site.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese.
