Your Future Role

This role will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of networking and security technologies, providing leading-edge solutions to the firm. You will embody the mindset of continuous learning and process improvement and champion collaboration between teams within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate existing production network security environments, including firewalls, SASE, CASB, and Proxy.
  • Oversee network and network security changes in hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.
  • Provide technical network security expertise across engineering teams.
  • Implement automated and scalable security systems, processes, and controls.
  • Treat security as a business enabler.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in network engineering and/or security; candidates with less experience will be considered for junior Network Security Engineer role.
  • Strong multi-vendor firewall background with exposure to modern network solutions like SASE, CASB, Proxies, and L7 rule adoption.
  • Good understanding of systems, networking, and security engineering concepts.
  • Good understanding of major network protocols in various layers.
  • Experience protecting and safeguarding data and assets on the network level.
  • Experience with packet decoding and analysis tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
  • Advantageous, but not essential:
    • Exposure to cloud technologies.
    • Data Center & Colo experience.
    • Coding experience to achieve automation.
    • Offensive security from the perspective of the adversary.
