Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administration Specialist to join our team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire payroll lifecycle, including salary calculations, final payments, taxation, pension contribution, leave management, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Administration: Manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Report Generation: Prepare monthly reports in a timely manner, analyzing data to ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT vendors to maintain and enhance HRMS systems, participating in UAT as needed.
  • Data Integrity: Act as administrator for Rental Reimbursement Scheme, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of vendor-provided data.
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Handle assigned tasks and projects as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a sizeable company or the banking industry.
  • Skillset: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of HK Labour Ordinance and other HR-related regulations.
  • Aptitude: Detail-minded, with a strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing, with knowledge of Peoplesoft an advantage.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately HK$55,000 - HK$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
