The Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for growing the company's brand presence across the APAC region. Working closely with the Regional Business Manager and Regional Business Director, this individual must be resourceful and agile, able to wear many hats and get stuff done in a fast‑paced environment. The role partners with distributors, interfaces with colleagues based in the USA Global HQ, and aligns all regional initiatives. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a major impact in a dynamic region, growing beloved brands through creativity, relentless execution, and strong cross-cultural partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute annual brand plans and marketing strategies tailored to APAC markets, aligned with global brand strategies. Drive effective localisation of product launches, advertising campaigns, packaging, and merchandising materials, ensuring regional relevance while maintaining global brand integrity. Champion and embed the brands’ vision and values across all activities, providing guidance to in‑market teams on adaptation and execution. Brand Execution & Market Activation Embrace a hands‑on approach by managing diverse tasks—from developing POS materials and trade show displays to copywriting and digital campaign execution—adapting quickly to shifting priorities. Support consumer and trade‑facing activations such as events, retailer programs, and sampling initiatives. Plan, coordinate, and execute brand presence at regional conferences, trade shows, and key industry events. Oversee logistics, materials, and team preparation. Monitor cost‑effectiveness and adherence to financial targets. Continuously evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize brand execution. Conduct regular audits and reviews of brand implementation to ensure compliance with brand standards and guidelines. Market Insights & Analysis Support ongoing market research, competitor monitoring, and category trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities. Partner with distributors to gather and analyze sales data, brand health metrics, and consumer insights. Summarize learnings into clear reporting and presentations for regional and global leadership. Distributor & Stakeholder Engagement Build and nurture relationships with local distributors and channel partners; provide training, marketing resources, and ongoing support to drive in‑market success. Serve as a day‑to‑day point of contact for distributor brand teams, supporting capability building and alignment to brand standards. Assist in organizing distributor meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Build collaborative relationships with internal functions (brand, supply chain, sales, finance, legal, regulatory) to ensure consistent messaging and knowledge sharing across markets. Operational Support & Project Management Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for brand projects and initiatives, ensuring high‑quality execution. Provide support for regional events, trade shows, and key brand activations. Champion operational excellence by sharing best practices and driving efficiencies in distributor engagement and brand management processes. Core Competencies: Influence & Relationship Building: Ability to build strong partnerships internally and externally across cultures and functions. Agility & Initiative: Adaptable, proactive, and resourceful in overcoming challenges and driving projects to completion. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Organisation & Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines concurrently. Ideal Qualifications: Degree‑qualified in Marketing, Business Proficiency in Adobe software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Proven experience in brand management or marketing, ideally in FMCG or consumer goods. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a regional/multinational context. Experience engaging with distributors or third‑party channel partners. Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
