What You Will Do Anglo‑Eastern offers a rare opportunity to join the management team of an industry powerhouse with a family feel. Overall objective of the Role To lead and co‑ordinate corporate accounting services across the group; to provide high quality and insightful financial reporting across the business units, to be part of the ongoing enhancements of a unified cloud‑based accounting ERP solution and to drive the continued quality improvement of accounting processes. Main Responsibilities Financial Consolidation Management: Oversee and manage group financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all statutory reporting and budgeting processes. Monthly Reporting: Provide comprehensive monthly consolidated financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics. Collaboration with Global Teams: Work closely with global finance teams to align and execute the Company’s financial strategies effectively. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the group’s statutory financial reports adhere to all relevant financial regulations and standards. Audit Management: Assist in managing the group’s annual external audit process, facilitating smooth interactions between auditors and internal teams. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and recommend actionable changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Policy Development: Lead the review and update of the group’s accounting policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements. Business Transformation Initiatives: Participate in business transformation projects, including system implementations and other operational improvements. What We Are Looking For Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting qualifications are required. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in commercial finance or business partnering, with a preference for candidates with a Big‑4 auditing background. Analytical Skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on timely and accurate analyses. Adaptability: Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while remaining flexible to adapt to changing circumstances. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Integrity: High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Team Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and guide teams to produce high‑quality reports in a timely manner. Self‑Motivation: Proactive and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
