Assistant Manager, Credit Risk Management Join to apply for the Assistant Manager, Credit Risk Management role at CLSA. Responsibilities Familiar with credit risk management on FICC business, have solid understanding on reviewing issuer risk from bond or fixed income product investment as well as Structured Notes business. Prepare credit assessment and Chinese/English write‑up report, review credit limit applications and make appropriate recommendations to senior management for approval. Review and assign appropriate internal credit rating according to the credit profile of each single issuer. Review and assess credit exposures deriving from OTC transactions (Swaps, Repos, Structured Notes etc…) Prepare daily credit reports and monitor credit exposures, limit breaches. Resolve issues when exceptions occur and properly escape to senior team members as necessary. Monitor for adverse news which could potentially deteriorate issuer credit quality. Prepare various risk decks from issuer risk angle to Risk Management Committee and Senior Management reports on a regular or ad‑hoc basis. Support ad‑hoc requests from business and other internal clients. Requirements 5‑8 years of relevant risk management experience in brokerage/financial institution. Master’s degree holder in Finance, Business or related discipline. Good knowledge of financial products (i.e. Bond, FX, Swap, Futures & Options, Structured products). Sound understanding of credit risk management, able to identify relevant exposures from different products. Experienced with credit review and write‑ups in both English and Chinese. Capable of developing or enhancing daily risk report through programming skills. A good team player, quick learner, humble and willing to learn, self‑motivated with strong sense of responsibility and discipline. Proficient in Excel / Macro / SQL / Python etc. will be a definite advantage. Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
