We are building a next-generation wealth management platform in Hong Kong, enabling Relationship Managers and clients to operate under a true independent, multi-custodian advisory model . With strong capabilities in alternative investments, private markets and differentiated product sourcing , we aim to develop one of the most competitive EAM platforms in the region. To accelerate this expansion, we are seeking a Head of External Asset Management (EAM) — a senior wealth professional who combines personal client trust with the ability to build, lead and scale an EAM business line . Key Responsibilities Build & Lead the EAM Business Establish and scale the firm’s EAM franchise in Hong Kong. Lead AUM growth through advisory, asset allocation, and multi-custodian management. Develop EAM workflows covering advisory model, custodian engagement, onboarding, and compliance. Bring Personal Client Relationships Leverage your existing HNW/UHNW client base (preferably already banking with UBS, HSBC, SCB, Julius Baer, DBS, etc.). Provide clients with independent advisory supported by our strong product and alternatives platform. Drive long‑term client relationships and holistic wealth management. Serve as internal EAM practice lead, guiding traditional RMs to adopt the multi-custodian and independent advisory model. Provide hands‑on coaching on client conversations, asset consolidation, and EAM value proposition. Work with leadership to shape pricing, segmentation and product strategy. Manage Custodian Bank Partnerships Collaborate with leading private banks’ EAM desks to expand cooperation and secure competitive pricing. Candidate Requirements Must‑Have 8–15+ years of experience in Private Banking, EAM/IAM, or Wealth Management; Strong HNW/UHNW client network with existing accounts in major private banks; Proven capabilities in advisory, portfolio construction and client management; Familiarity with multi‑custodian operations and EAM workflows; SFC Type 1 & 4 licenses (or ability to obtain).
