Summary The SAP MRO Specialist plays a critical role in SAP implementation program with primary responsibility for SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) modules. The role supports the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions for daily Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This includes technical structure setup, engineering change management, work order processing, supply chain management, sourcing, kitting, and quality assurance processes. The Specialist works closely with SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure SAP and MES solutions effectively support operational requirements. Responsibilities Analyze current MRO business processes and identify gaps against SAP PM/MM standard functionalities and MES solutions such as iMRO. Design and recommend SAP and MES-based solutions aligned with MRO and supply chain best practices. Support configuration and validation of SAP PM/MM processes, including technical object structures (equipment, functional locations), maintenance plans, and work order processing. Advise on business process mapping across MRO, engineering, and supply chain domains. Support engineering-related processes, including Technical Services Requests (TSR), Service Bulletins (SB), and Airworthiness Directives (AD). Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement additional MES solutions to support daily maintenance operations. Ensure seamless integration between SAP and MES platforms for execution and reporting. Manage business process changes during project rollout to ensure smooth adoption. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years’ project experience with SAP PM and MM, including hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA. Experience across multiple ERP implementation phases, including data migration, UAT, training, and go‑live support. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups in operational and technical environments. Domain knowledge in MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), Aviation, or Engineering industries is highly desirable. Familiarity with MES (Maintenance Execution Systems), such as iMRO, is an advantage. Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to perform effectively under pressure in project‑driven environments.
