Our client is looking for a HR leader to build up the people function from the ground up. This is a hands‑on, foundational role for a builder who can seamlessly shift between strategy and execution. You will be directly responsible for establishing core HR operations while designing the Talent Management and Organizational Development programs that will fuel the scaling team. Key Responsibilities Build & Execute: Establish Core HR: Own the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—including payroll, benefits, compliance, and policy creation. Drive Performance & Growth: Design and implement a performance management system (goal setting, reviews, feedback) and create career pathing frameworks. Develop Talent: Lead talent review and succession planning; identify skill gaps and source/manage L&D programs. Shape Culture & Structure: Partner with leadership on org design, manage employee engagement surveys, and turn data into actionable plans to boost retention and productivity. Qualifications & Must‑Haves 10+ years of progressive HR experience with experience in the retail industry. Proven experience in a high‑growth startup or scale‑up environment. Expertise in HR compliance and HR operations. Fluent in both English & Chinese with good communication skills.
