A HKSAR Government Department Selected candidate will be assigned to work in government department and responsible for the platform operations, maintenance and development work as well as providing necessary technical support to the departments. Responsibilities Work with contractors to provide operation management and capacity monitoring and planning for the System providing 7x24 service to the public Keep track of performance indicators/alerts of the System, and follow up with contractors Assist in compilation of maintenance reports, preparation of statistics and system documentation Provide maintenance support including implementation and upgrades of both hardware and software Carry out duties outside office at data centers over the territory Work outside normal office hours and shift duties Any other duties (including publicity) assigned by the supervisors Requirements High Diploma / Degree Holder or above in IT or Computer Science At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT and 1 year in similar capacity Solid experience in supporting and maintaining systems running on cloud platform and MySQL Solid experience in deploying of metro-Ethernet networks and switches, routers, and firewalls Understanding of load balancers, internet gateways, proxy services, domain name services, Linux platform, docker / container technologies, backup services and virtualization technologies Candidates with solid experience in supporting IT application and system involving mobile apps and providing on-site support for datacenter migration will be advantageous Good command in both spoken and written English & Putonghua Good coordination and communication skills Criminal record checking is required How to Apply To apply for this position, please simply click on the "APPLY" button from the following link: Go App - If you have not been reached out to by our consultants, please consider your application has been unsuccessful.
