Cyber Security Manager

The Cyber Security Manager plays a critical role in driving cybersecurity initiatives, promoting security awareness across the organization, and collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external security service providers. This role is instrumental in enhancing the company's security operations, with a strong focus on incident response and remediation. Responsibilities Lead investigations and coordinate responses to information security breaches and cybersecurity incidents Plan, recommend, and implement remedial actions for identified threats and vulnerabilities Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls Oversee system vulnerability management and patch deployment processes Manage data loss prevention (DLP) monitoring and security information and event management (SIEM) activities Provide expert advice and support to business units in identifying risks and defining necessary cybersecurity controls Develop and deliver management information (MI) reports on cybersecurity operations for oversight and governance Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and assess their potential impact on the organization Lead cybersecurity projects, manage vendors, and coordinate incident response efforts Offer subject matter expertise in database hardening, system monitoring, and log analysis Oversee data management processes, including data classification, retention, and secure disposal Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Possession of at least two relevant professional certifications, such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, or OSCP Hands‑on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall), EDR, SOAR platforms, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security tools (e.g., AWS, Azure) Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security and risk management Proven experience in implementing cybersecurity controls and managing incident response Strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines pertaining to cybersecurity and technology risk management Demonstrated ability to perform security risk assessments and audits based on industry best practices Self‑motivated with strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to perform under pressure and manage complex security incidents effectively Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage An excellent career development and opportunities will be offered to the right candidates.
