About You You’re a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment You enjoy doing purpose-led and meaningful work You have a strong thirst for knowledge and are driven to find solutions that don’t exist yet You are comfortable with ambiguity and extremely resourceful (in your past life, you could’ve been a detective) You always find a way to get things done without sacrificing the quality of your work, integrity, and values No task is off limits for you You are humble and prioritize the success of the team over your own with an eagerness to help those around you You don’t shy away from challenges and can bounce back from setbacks What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role Extract, transform and analyse data from various structured and unstructured sources to enable and support business decision-making Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify key questions, and translate them into analytical approaches and actionable insights Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for business units, enabling performance tracking, trend analysis, and strategic planning Provide first line support for local data issues, maintain best practices for data management and provide support where necessary for the data projects Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment on data-driven initiatives Support data governance practices including data cleaning, data quality assurance and documentation. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms Design and maintain data dictionary documents. Identify and maintain data owners and stewards of the company’s information assets Collaborate with the Tech team in creating technology platforms across Data Lake / Data Visualization / Data Analytics Solutions Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities, using data to propose solutions and support strategic decisions What Is Required And What We’re Looking For 2 years of experience in a data analyst role Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related discipline Excellent SQL skills and solid understanding of database structures and data modeling Proficiency in Python or R and its application in data analysis Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake) and data warehouse development Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to business strategy and operations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and compelling way Self-driven, proactive, eager to learn and grow, can-do attitude in a dynamic environment Ability to work independently and strategically, open to tackling new issues and sounding out new ideas Perks And Benefits To Enrich Your Experience At WeLab Learning and development stipend – we value lifelong learning and believe the best way to invest in our employees is to encourage them to continue to learn Wellness and happiness – Numerous activities to let you focus on your physical and mental wellbeing, complemented by happiness dollars (basically, an extra stipend) to spend on anything that makes you happy.
