Responsibilities Source the right suppliers/factories that fit the commercial buying strategy; Manage and follow through merchandising activities (product evaluations, price negotiation, product and packaging development, project coordination, sample, production and shipment), work closely and effectively with cross-functional departments (QA, CR, Design, Supplier etc.) Secure availability of all digital assets from suppliers to prepare for sales; Ensure correct master data of product and vendor to be created and maintained for procurement; Communicate with suppliers to ensure their understanding and meeting with our requirements; Comply work according to social compliance and quality assurance policies; Ensure supplier understands and complies with customer procedures and workflows; Manage product development milestones, order follow‑up to ensure shipment on time; Handle samples, logging, packing and delivery arrangement; Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary. Requirements Diploma or above graduate (graduated in Sourcing/ Procurement or related discipline will be an advantage); 5 - 8 years’ solid merchandising experience in Toys in European trading, sourcing or buying office is preferable; Sound product knowledge and familiarity with European market and testing standards; Well‑organized, self‑motivated, detail‑minded, responsible, able to work independently and good teamwork spirit; Structured and analytical with good problem‑solving skills; Good project management skills, able to meet deadlines; Excellent spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin; Proficiency in PC skills such as MS Office, experience in Lookup and Pivot table would be a plus; experience in SAP System is an extra bonus.
