Payroll Analyst at Global Payments Inc. About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to support our payroll processes across multiple regions, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand. You’ll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, prepare essential reports, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our payroll operations. Manage payroll processing for employees in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on Hong Kong, China, Macau and Taiwan. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of periodic payroll reports and consolidate data as needed; update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure compliance. Oversee and monitor superannuation and tax processes. Prepare payroll month‑end reports for accounting and auditing purposes; provide necessary data and documentation during audit periods. We look for teammates who share this vision, engage in our collective culture, and strive to understand our customers and solutions that contribute to their success. 3+ years’ experience in Payroll and Benefits Administration, with strong knowledge of Hong Kong payroll requirements; experience in China/Macau/Taiwan is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Forms; experience with Dayforce is a bonus. Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues effectively. Ability to escalate issues when necessary while maintaining proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven work habits. Team-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Payroll and HRIS knowledge Preferred Qualifications Minimum 4 years of relevant experience Desired Skills and Capabilities Substantial understanding of job requirements and application of knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks. Routine to moderately difficult assignments requiring decision-making in resolving issues or making recommendations. Little instruction on daily work; general instructions on new assignments. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Technical ability in Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems.
