Deputy General Manager

Develop and lead the execution of the company’s global fundraising strategy and annual plans, with a focused effort on deepening our market penetration in Greater China, Southeast Asia, and Europe & the Americas. Spearhead the design of fundraising proposals and marketing materials tailored to diverse channel investors, providing a comprehensive overview of the company’s investment strategies, track record, and risk management framework. Lead and manage the end-to-end fundraising process, including investor sourcing, roadshows, due diligence, term negotiation, and final capital closing, ensuring the achievement of fundraising targets. Investor Relations & Network Development Systematically identify, establish, and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with institutional investors (including pension funds, insurance companies, university endowments), private banks, family offices, and large corporate clients. Leverage and continuously expand your personal network of investor relationships to efficiently onboard key institutional clients for the company. Represent the company at international financial forums and industry summits to enhance our brand influence and recognition in the capital markets. Be responsible for building, training, and leading a professional fundraising team, setting clear performance objectives, and driving efficient execution. Work closely with Investment, Product, and Compliance departments to ensure all fundraising materials and activities adhere to regulatory requirements and accurately communicate the firm's investment value. Provide regular updates to senior management and the board of directors on fundraising progress, the capital pipeline, and market competition landscape. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all fundraising activities strictly comply with the regulatory requirements set by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for the relevant licenses, particularly the provisions governing marketing and disclosure as outlined in the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the Securities and Futures Commission. Ensure ongoing compliance with SFC capital adequacy requirements, and manage liquidity and risk exposure effectively. Requirements Education & Qualifications A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA will be highly regarded . Currently holding, or eligible to apply for, the Responsible Officer (RO) or Representative status for SFC Type 1, 4, and 9 licenses , with a solid understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements. Work Experience A minimum of 8 years of fundraising experience within the financial industry, including at least 3 years in a dedicated capital markets fundraising role at a Hong Kong or international hedge fund, private equity firm, investment bank, or asset management firm. Must possess a proven and robust network of institutional investor contacts, supported by a successful track record of independently leading and closing fundraising initiatives. In-depth knowledge of the structure, issuance process, and legal & compliance requirements for cross-border asset management products. Deep expertise in international fundraising processes and investor due diligence standards, coupled with exceptional deal negotiation and closing capabilities. Profound understanding of global capital markets, with the ability to accurately discern the needs and decision‑making drivers of investors from diverse backgrounds. Impeccable regulatory record and professional integrity. Language Skills Full professional proficiency in English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred. Personal Attributes Candidates should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, resilience under pressure, and commercial acumen for business development. Must be adaptable to frequent cross‑border travel and a demanding, fast‑paced work environment. Annual Salary: HK$1,000,000 – HK$1,200,000 (comprising base salary, performance bonus, and equity incentives). The package is negotiable based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
