Responsibilities Support a class of 24 students for literacy games. Provide ample encouragement to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. Commit to at least 2 sessions; attending 8 of 14 classes builds rapport. Volunteer briefing and all class materials are provided by our team. Project Details Interactive Storytelling is the core program of Books & Beyond for P.4 local primary school students. Children learn the English language together with social‑emotional skills to excel in school and in life. Class size: 24 students. What We Have Fun & interesting scripts, lesson materials, and props. Why this is important The Interactive Storytelling Program is the core program of our initiative which sets an important foundation to nurture children's passion to learn English. After we ignite their interest in the language, we will continue our work to further enhance their reading habit and English learning until Junior Secondary School. Project Period 01 Oct 2025 – 26 May 2026 Location Tung Chung Team Project You’ll be working with other awesome volunteers. This project is part of the Swire Trust Go‑Givers Program Swire Trust Go‑Givers Program aims to encourage skilled volunteers to support Swire Trust NGO partners in education, marine conservation, and arts. From now until 2025, 10 outstanding volunteers will be selected annually as the “Swire Trust Go‑Givers of the Year” with special rewards. Forty volunteers who contribute the highest number of hours annually will also be recognised. About the Organization Books & Beyond Reading Club is a Hong Kong‑based organization providing free innovative English learning programs for students of lesser means.
