Our client has become the most trusted name in the jewelry industry and the primary resource to solve complex technical issues to exacting requirements, producing thousands of delicate pieces a day, shipped in record time to end-customers. Due to business expansion, they are now looking for a new member - Jewelry Design Director

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of jewelry designers .
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company’s brand and goals.
  • Oversee the design process for new jewelry collections, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to incorporate design elements into their strategies.
  • Review and approve all design materials , from concepts to final products.
  • Stay updated on current jewelry trends and technologies and integrate them into the company’s design strategy.
  • Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into the final design.
  • Establish and manage the design budget .
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop or similar tools.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders and customers to understand business goals and create effective design solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial or senior-level design experience in the jewelry industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of jewelry design and CAD tools.
  • Experience in serving the US and EUR market.
  • Strong creativity skills and the vision to turn briefs into creative projects.
