NGO - Executive Manager (Sports and Recreation) At ConnectedGroup, we are supporting a local youth and family non‑profit organization in the search for their Executive Manager (Sports and Recreation). The Executive Manager is a dynamic and experienced leader with strong leadership and management experience responsible to oversee its camp, recreation, and sports services. This role offers the opportunity to shape long‑term strategies, drive innovation, and deliver impactful programs that enrich the community. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of strategies for camp, recreation, and sports services. Lead innovative initiatives that align with the organisation's mission and evolving community needs. Design and execute marketing and fundraising campaigns, cultivating partnerships with sponsors, donors, and stakeholders. Oversee service operations including manpower planning, HR management, budgeting, and compliance with governance standards. Build strong partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and cross‑sector partners to mobilise resources and support growth. Inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Represent the organisation externally, enhancing its reputation through effective communication and stakeholder engagement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or similar. Extensive leadership experience in sizable organisations, with proven success in senior management roles. Background in camp services or recreation and sports management is an advantage. Strong business acumen with expertise in fundraising, partnership development, and strategic planning. Exceptional leadership qualities with entrepreneurial spirit, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and influence. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organisational skills.
